  1. My Nutritious Balanced Breakfast

Good Heart Smoothie

(One portion)

Ingredients:Apple beet smoothie 1

1 apple

¼ diced beets

½ small avocado

1 tablespoon raw cacao powder

1 cup ice cubes

1 cup organic unsweetened apple juice

Water (optional to get creamy consistency pf smoothie)

1 hand full beet greens and stems or any green of your preference

Chop all the ingredients into small pieces, place them into a power blender, add water if needed, blend and ENJOY!

Note: Drink gradually within a hour. Research has shown that most of the nutritious content of a smoothie is lost after 20 minutes so try to drink as much as possible within an hour.
